Mr. Davies was Project Manager for this study for the BC Ministry of Transportation Climate Action Program. The purpose of the study was to assemble information on major West Coast ports to facilitate identification of opportunities for collaboration in projects related to the BC Green Ports Strategy. The study included a review of jurisdiction of federal, state/provincial, and local governments and agencies over port operations, land use, finances, and environmental protection. Current environmental initiatives and levies among the ports were also highlighted.
